Instead of a traditional competition, PAC is designed to give dancers real, live feedback from experienced judges before competition season gets into full swing.

​

The idea is simple: perform, get feedback, make adjustments, and head into competition season stronger.

A few things that make PAC different:

• Live critiques from experienced judges- dancers and teachers receive immediate, constructive feedback they can actually use.

• Intimate, non-intimidating environment - PAC will take place right in a studio rather than in a large competition venue.

• A focused feedback environment — only dancers and teachers will be in the room during critiques, allowing for honest, meaningful feedback without an audience. Parents won’t miss out, we’ll have monitors available so they can still watch!

• Super affordable - we wanted to make this an opportunity that studios can easily add into their season.

  • Solos: $30

  • Duet/Trio: $30 per person

  • Groups: $15 per person

• Block scheduling - we’ll work to keep your studio’s entries together so you aren’t spending an entire weekend waiting around.

• Costumes OR dancewear - dancers are welcome to wear their competition costumes, but if costumes aren’t ready yet, dancewear is absolutely great!

 

And you do not have to be a Dance Masters of America member to participate! We’d love to open this opportunity to all studios throughout the area.

Our goal is for this to feel less like “competition day” and more like a valuable tune-up before competition season.  A chance for dancers and teachers to get an outside perspective, celebrate what’s working, and walk away with specific things to work on.
