Meet The Judges

Robert Anthony

 Robert Anthony has been said to be one of DFW’s top hip hop personalities. He is a Dallas Jesuit grad with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology/sociology from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Science in marriage and family therapy from Texas Wesleyan University, and a Master of Arts in psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology; and currently pursuing a PhD in Counseling and Psychological Services with an emphasis in biblical studies.

Robert has been a dancer, teacher, and choreographer for 15 plus years. His dance background includes hip hop (popping, locking, and b-boying), jazz, modern and acrobatics. He continues training in hip hop, Latin/ballroom dance, and current forms of dance. Though Robert has studied with many well-known choreographers locally and abroad, he credits his dancing career to teacher and mentor, Keith Clark. Robert is no stranger to the microphone. Along with dancing he has had the opportunity of hosting several events from showcases, corporate events, break dancing jams and shows such as Kids4Kids: United We Dance, Move 2 Groove Ball, and being an emcee for Encore Performing Arts Dance Competition as well as judging various dance competitions (studio and street competitions) along with teaching workshops and masterclasses.

Olivia Warner

Triple threat, Olivia Warner, is a graduate of Oklahoma City University where she received a Bachelor’s of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. Olivia has worked in theater, the competitive dance scene, and the recording industry. Some of her previous performance credits include portraying Lola in The Regional Theatre of Palouse production of Damn Yankees!, being a featured performer in the show Set A Flame, as well as performing with the American Spirit Dance Company in Home for the Holidays and Broadway Revue. As an educator, she has taught at Dove Dance Academy in Oklahoma City for the past three seasons. She would like to thank her husband Dillon, for his undying support and love during her journey.

Patricia Oplotnik

Patricia Oplotnik is a former Artist in Residence at the prestigious Ann Lacy School of Dance and Arts Management at Oklahoma City University and has many years of experience in all facets of the dance Industry. . She founded Applause Studios in Oklahoma City and was the Director for 30 years leaving private teaching to work full time at OCU. In 2013 she was honored by being awarded the OCU Outstanding Full Time Faculty Award. A fifty -two year member of Dance Masters of America, Patricia is a Nationally Certified Examiner for tap, ballet, jazz, modern and acrobatics and has served  DMA on the Executive Board as a National Area Director.  She  trained and choreographed  a two time world female tap solo champion and was mentored by many masters.  Known as “Fast Pat” she adjudicates and teaches for numerous professional dance organizations and has received many choreography and high place awards throughout her teaching career. She recently created and filmed new teaching techniques to help speed the development of strong, capable, and multi-styled tap dancers. Since her tap tutorials have been released they have received accolades from hundreds of teachers. Universities have put both the Single Sound Theory DVD’s and the Tap Treasures/Time Steps DVDs in their libraries as reference material. She is grateful to continue watching dancers achieve their loftiest dreams!
